We live in the world with different communities. Let’s not be political & focus on Style. Amid all those Style Oriented Species, NERDS have an important existence and later GEEKS propel out of them. NERDS are all over the map – in every class, college, university, & office. Basically, NERD is a large community & GEEKS are just a part of that community. Although both look same but actual difference lies in the term – “COOL”.
In simple language, GEEKS – CREATE COOL STUFF but NERDS – COLLECT COOL STUFF.
Some differences are as under:
- Nerds Are More Intellect
Nerds are born and brought up with books. Knowledge is their second best friend. Most of their stuff is a serious element. They prefer infotainment rather than entertainment. This makes them more intellect.
- Nerds Prefer Star Wars Over Notebook
They have an acute choice when it comes to entertainment. Have you heard of any intellectual movie? One might answer DOCUMENTARY – but a bit entertaining than that will give names like – Star Wars, Avengers, etc-etc which are poles apart from any general cinema.
- Geeks Have A Good Physical Appearance
Geeks look themselves into the mirror more than twice. That means they care about their appearance. Most of them do not have GYM accounts but are way different than any lean stick, hunchback…
- Geeks Have Good Dressing Sense
Style – is much closer to GEEKS. They live with it. Perhaps not that high brands but at least the bootcut jeans will do the trick! Funky t-shirts over sneaker have immense appeal and it makes them way more glamourized.
- Geeks Have Girlfriends
When it comes to love, NERDS do not find suitable to appear in the exams. On the contrary, GEEKS score good grades. They have girlfriends who leave behind a style statement. Not every one of them are CLEOPETRA but all meet the expectation of required charm.
- Nerds Are Boring
We all know – excess of everything is BAD. You find NERDS always loaded with butt-load of information and like to sprout that. At some point, any normal human being gets bored with it. Moreover, they lack proper enthusiasm and intensity.
- I Have Never Seen A NERD Watching Football
Nerds are not into sports. Perhaps there could be charm for indoor world but outside the door – is not their cup of tea. If they don’t like the sight of this world, there are pretty much chances of them not having the charm of watching sports. Or let’s just say they are not cool so they don’t like football.
- Definition Of Fun
In both the cases (NERDS & GEEKS) – definition of FUN are different. For NERDS fun is – studies, and eating Chinese, but GEEKS love being spontaneous – visiting water parks, taking a trip, speaking bullshit after getting high.
- Nerds Are Not The HERO Material
We all know what is a HERO – someone who looks fade the tube light, someone whose biceps define his persona, someone whose smile is killing – someone who with all these features becomes the heart throb. NERDS do not have any of these features, but GEEKS manage to come close to them.
- NERDS Are More Complaining
Although NERDS are intellect & boring at the same time; they have the tendency of getting irritated. They despise the fact of touching their stuff without their knowledge. They believe in sharing but in a restricted manner.
- GEEKS Have HAPPY GO LUCKY Attitude
GEEKS are often serious often careless. They live life to the fullest. They are not always buried into books. They jump, dance, roost and often get roosted.
- NERDS – No Craze For Luxurious Wheelers
In the world of NERDS besides books there is space and spaceships. Luxurious automobiles do not make space in their heart. They might take a cab to visit nearby library but never trust a personal bike.
- Books And Laptop Are Their Best Friends – NERDS
Basically, nerds are not that social but if they are they never ever go below the belt, they talk intelligence which they gather from books and laptops with which they stay in touch most of the time.
- Library Or Science Lab Is The Home For NERDS
This fact is clear crystal that Nerds are synonymous to knowledge. So library and science experimental laboratories become their accommodation.
- NERDS Are Expressionless
The two most common expressions NERDS have are – grin & usual sorrow. They never wink, tight their eyes and do blah blah stuff for cute expressions.
- NERDS Are Not Cool
Nerds like to collect cool stuff but they are not cool. They never jump like kriss-cross, they never hip hop, they are always in low.
- NERDS Are Not That Social
They don’t talk extravagantly. They share information but it’s always work. Being Social incorporates several things but they keep restrict their tongues for that.
- GEEKS Get Offended When Called NERD
Whenever you call any specky – NERD, he/she sees red. The term NERD itself is an ebb to somebody’s status. It is offending because they do not act like the anti-social element of the society with a boorish state of mind.
- NERDS Are Always Front Benchers
You see them sitting in the front bench, tuning with teacher’s statement – YES ma’am. Sometimes try to correct teacher but with soft tone devoid any sarcasm. They are always in the good books of teachers.
